The programme took place on the night of 31 December and continued into the early hours of 1 January, running from 9:30 pm to 6:00 am, with four stages operating simultaneously in different locations across the city. This decentralised format offered a diverse and dynamic musical experience, encouraging public circulation and engagement with the urban space.
I AM Events was responsible for the executive production of the event, overseeing the overall coordination of operations, from planning to on-site execution. The agency managed technical coordination, logistics, team management and close collaboration with artists, suppliers and institutional partners.
The artistic programme featured performances by leading Portuguese artists such as Dino d’Santiago and Branko, within a balanced line-up that combined different musical styles and audiences throughout the night.
Event production involved close coordination with the Coimbra City Council, as well as security services, civil protection and urban mobility authorities. Several planning meetings were held in advance, with continuous coordination maintained throughout the event to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
Despite the low temperatures, public participation was strong, and the atmosphere throughout the city was described as lively and vibrant, reinforcing the cultural impact of the initiative and Coimbra’s position as a city capable of hosting complex, large-scale public events.
